We are pleased to announce that Dr. B.G. Rhee has signed on as a member of Aquavit Pharmaceutical’s Advisory Board. The highly distinguished Dr. Rhee currently serves as the President of Green Cross Corp. (KOSPI: 006280), one of the leading biopharmaceutical companies in Korea.
Dr. Rhee has held several prominent roles in the biopharmaceutical industry, including serving as the President and CEO of the bio-venture company Expression Genetics. He functioned as head of Pharmaceutical Business Unit at Samyang Corporation and the Head of Drug Development Center at LG Chemical (Currently LG Life Science).
In addition, he is a noted member of several medical and scientific communities including the National Academy of Engineering in Korea and the Science and Technology Committee in FKI (Federation of Korean Industries). He is also the acting co-chairman of the Health Technology Forum.
Dr. Rhee’s possesses a BS and a MS in Chemical Engineering from the Seoul National University in Korea. He obtained a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering from Rice University in the U.S.A.
